In addition most plant matter is alkalizing it can reduce the acidity of the stomach acid which is designed to neutralize bacteria. We do not add vitamins and minerals because all nutrients can be found in the meat, organs and bones used in our products. In addition the freeze drying process preserves almost all nutrients unlike commerical kibble and canned food that is cooked and loses nutriients requiring nutrients to be added back in after the cooking process. By following the Prey Model and rotating proteins, your companions will be provided a more complete and balanced diet.
